Drogo's E-type.

This unique e-type (only in the States called XK-E) by Piero Drogo shows affinity with Bertone's similarly-based Pirana as well as with recent Ghia designs, but is less successful.

After a road accident with its owner who lived in Nice, this 1962 Jaguar 3.8 E-type - a right hand drive fixed head, chassis 886294 - was converted by Drogo. It retains a steel monocoque and all Jaguar mechanical parts - but it still "looks awful. And very exclusive" (Martin). I heard that this car was on sale recently.
