Drogo's Ferrari 330 P4.
Although the car looks similar to the P 3,
the designer
Piero Drogo has made some subtle,
but aesthecally striking modifications.
They included a wrap-around rear spoiler,
lower and wider body-work to clear the wider tyres
and slimmer head lamps.
It was said that the P4's beautiful curves were designed
without lifting the pencil from the paper.
There were only four real factory P4's,
but also externally almost identical cars like the 412P or the 330 P3/4,
which were used by private teams.
In the first race 1967 - the Daytona 24 Hours - Ferrari finished
first (Bandini/Amon, P4), second (Parkes/Scarfiotti, P4)
and third
(Guichet/Rodriguez, P3)(picture 3).
